|Hoyt Farm summer concert series|

The Smithtown Recreation Department presents its Summer Concert Series at the band shell in the park at Hoyt Farm in Commack. The concerts, sponsored by Cablevision, are open to all residents free of charge.
All concerts start at 8 pm. Concert goers are urged to bring chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy the show.
Sunday, July 17
Blues singer Sam Taylor is an award-winning songwriter who has performed with Otis Redding, the Isley Brothers and many other superstars.
Thursday, July 21
Country line dancers Jackalope Junction will perform. This band has opened for country superstar Martina McBride, classic rock veteran George Thorogood and the Steve Miller Band.
Sunday, July 24
Oldies Night featuring Vito Balsamo & The Chaperones. Balsamo is the Doo Wop star and former lead singer of the Salutations. He spent much of 1965 on Billboard's National Top 40 chart.
Sunday, August 7
Classic Jazz and Swing with Jerry Costanza as he performs songs of Sinatra, Dino and more.
Sunday, August 14
Chicago tribute band Beginnings will play with precision and energy and truly capture the sound of Chicago.
Sunday, August 21
Rock and Roll history with The Casinos. This band brings back that piece of history every time they sing their hit Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye.
In case of light rain, every effort will be made to move the concert under the pavilion. If a concert must be canceled, details will be broadcast on WALK radio after 3 pm on the day of the concert.
