JAZZ IN THE LIVING ROOM

SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM DAY

HARVEST FAIR AND PET BLESSING

SANTANA TRIBUTE BAND MILAGRO IN CONCERT
Milagro, a Santana tribute band, will give a two-hour concert at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory starting at 7:30 pm. The concert is open to the public. All visitors to the lab age 16 and over must bring a photo ID. $12 in advance, $15 at the door on the evening of the performance. Call 344-4909 for further information.
HARBOR DAY: WEST MEADOW BEACH AND LONG BEACH
Harbor Day, a partnership between government and local groups, will take place at West Meadow Beach and Long Beach. Activities include nature and history walks and talks, a supervised beach cleanup, sailing demonstrations, horsemanship displays and more. LONG ISLAND APPLE FESTIVAL
The Long Island Apple Festival will take place today from 11 am to 4:30 pm at the Sherwood-Jayne Farm, 55 Old Post Road, East Setauket. Activities include games, pony rides, colonial craft demonstrations, apple pie baking contest, craft demonstrations and traditional music. $6 adults, $4 seniors and children (ages 2 to 12). WALKING TOUR OF COLD SPRING HARBOR
