Albert Ramann

Albert F. Ramann of Carbondale, PA died suddenly on Sunday Sept. 21, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born in Brooklyn April 9, 1939, the son of the late Guenther Ramann and Rose (Montanez) Ramann. Formerly of Port Jefferson, he owned two restaurants, Bernard's in Coram and Ramann's in Setauket with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years Margaret (Mullen) Ramann; his son, Timothy and wife, Frances of Charlottesville, VA; granddaughter Meghan with husband, Nathan Rider, and their sons Paul, Luke and Mark; granddaughter Kimberly and husband, Jeremy Porter and their daughter, Adeline;daughter Terese and husband, Keith Noble with their daughters, Erika and Noelle of Huntersville, NC. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas. Surviving is Thomas' wife Stephanie and their two children, Mariah and Shauvaun of Coram. Also surviving is his sister Lourdes of Naples, FL. Many thanks to the staff at DaVita Dialysis in Childs, PA, and all the staff at Moses Taylor Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Friends may visit Friday Sept. 26, from 11 am to 12:30 pm at Casimir Funeral Home, 523 Rte 112, Port Jefferson Station. Immediately following will be a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram.

The world has lost a very special person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Marilyn Lloyd

Marilyn Lloyd, 58 years old of Centereach, died Aug. 31. She was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Eleanor and the late Frederic C. Baumler.

She was a computer tutor for Setauket Elementary School.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband, Frederick Lloyd; sons, Thomas Lloyd and James Lloyd; a sister, Alberta Bartunek; mother, Eleanor Baumler; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Sept. 3, with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.

Contributions made to the American Cancer Society, 75 Davids Drive, Hauppauge, NY 11788 would be appreciated.

Mary Ann Mason

Mary Ann Mason of Port Jefferson and more recently of Setauket, died on Aug. 30 at the age of 87.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1920, in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine DeDomico.

She was a retired legal secretary.

Ms. Mason is survived by her niece, Ellen E. Trocchia; nephew, Aron DeDomenico and her brother, Frank DeDomenico.

A funeral service was held on Sept. 3. Interment followed in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
