You've heard of five-star hotels and five-star resorts — ready for a five-star post office? The East Setauket Post Office recently earned a five-star rating for the fifth time in a row, as part of the Postal Service's 5 Star Customer Service Program. Ratings are based on surveys by the Gallup Organization.

"We've always provided excellent service," said East Setauket Postmaster William Huber. "Now we've got five stars to back it up."

Gallup surveys USPS customers, asking them to rate local offices on efficiency, accuracy of delivery, clerks, consistency of delivery and wait-time. East Setauket received a significant increase in "Excellent" ratings, earning the 5 Star Customer Service Award an unprecedented fifth postal quarter in a row.

"We're really honored to receive this rating," said Huber. "It is even more special that we have been rated as excellent for a fifth time by our valued customers. I pledge we will continue to provide excellent service you have come to expect."
