Homicide and arson squads are investigating a fire that claimed the life of a Selden woman on Monday.

Sixth Precinct officers were called to Redwood Court in Selden after a resident of the Village in the Woods apartment complex reported a fire in a nearby apartment.

A female resident of that apartment, identified by police as Amy Yeung, 29, died at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
