Mike Devlin camp set for June 15
|
The North Shore Colts are presenting the second annual Mike Devlin football camp, which will be held this year at Mount Sinai High School June 15-19 from 5:30-7:30 pm. All children across Long Island currently in grades second through eighth for the 2008-09 school year are welcome. All campers will received a T-shirt.
Students will learn important fundamental skills, such as blocking, tackling, passing, and receiving skills from the experienced staff. Players will get the opportunity to learn each position. This is a non-contact football camp. No equipment is needed.
The cost of the camp is $125 per player; second child is $100. Space is limited, so all need to register by June 1.
Pro coaches include Mike Devlin, NY Jets tight end/assistant offensive line coach; Mike Bloomgren and Brian Smith, both NY Jets assistant coaches.
Jets players who attend the camp in 2008 were Chad Pennington, D'Brick Ferguson, Nick Mangold, Thomas Jones, Eric Barton, Dustin Keller, Veron Gholston, Mike Nugent, Brett Ratcliff, Kellen Clemens, in addition to 22 rookies.
