Wreath-laying ceremony

The public is invited to honor our veterans at Huntington Town Hall, Sunday, May 24 at 9:30 am in Veterans Plaza, 100 Main St., in commemoration of Memorial Day. Wreaths will be placed at the World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Women's Veterans monuments, and to honor our troops serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The keynote speaker will be Sergeant Lou Delli-Pizzi, U.S. Army National Guard, 69th Infantry, Bravo Company, veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Town Supervisor Frank Petrone and town board members along with the Veterans Advisory Board will be unveiling a kiosk in the lobby of Town Hall to present significant battles and facts of all this country's wars from the American Revolution to the present Iraq War.
