Garant elected mayor in clean sweep
Snyder, Kessel win trustee seats

Margot Garant has been elected mayor of Port Jefferson by a margin of 1324 votes to 939 votes for Joe Erland.

Leslea Snyder and Adrienne Kessel won trustee seats, polling 1179 and 1052 votes, respectively. Ken Brady received the next highest total with 990 votes.

These figures are unofficial results and do not reflect the 83 absentee ballots, which were still being tallied at 9:40 pm.
