'Ghosts' writer's pilot explores North Shore history

Kerriann Flanagan Brosky, a Huntington resident and author of two books on the ghosts of Long Island, has made a pilot for a television series or a two-hour TV documentary that has been accepted into the prestigious 12th annual Long Island International Film Festival. The film expo runs from July 10 to 19 and Flanagan Brosky's pilot airs Monday, July 13, at 2 pm at Bellmore Movies, 222 Pettit Ave., Bellmore.

In the pilot, Flanagan Brosky and paranormal investigator Joe Giaquinto explore the history of the Country House Restaurant in Stony Brook. For tickets and information, call (516) 783-3199. — Elise Pearlman
