Terryville students learn to be Police Smart
Students at Comsewogue's Terryville Elementary School participated in the Police Smart Program sponsored by the Suffolk County Police Department. Officer Laura Seta visited each classroom in the school over a one-week period.

This is the second year that Officer Seta has come to bring this important program to Terryville.

Greco assistant director at Emma Clark Library
Capt. and Mrs. Henry "Hank" Olsen of Anacortes, Wash., formerly of Port Jefferson, are proud to announce that their daughter, Dianna Greco, has been appointed to the position of assistant director at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library in Setauket, where she has been employed for some time.

Greco is the successful author of a trilogy entitled "In the Hands of Grace," which has recently been published. A book signing will be held very soon.

Dianna has lived in Port Jefferson for a long time with her husband, Richard Greco and their son, Jonathan.

Sacred Heart dean's list
Lauren Beier, Karen Mahnken and James Pastor of Port Jefferson Station have been placed on the dean's list for the spring semester at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. To receive this honor, students must achieve a 3.6 grade point average.

Bentley University dean's list
Joshua Ryan Perez, a junior corporate finance and accounting major, and Christopher Emmanuel Beato, a sophomore undecided business major, both of Port Jefferson Station, have been named to the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring semester. This honor recognizes a grade point average of 3.3 or higher.
