Rebecca Taylor loves to ski. A couple of years ago she introduced her beau, Fernando Canosa, to the sport. On Aug. 1 they married in the chapel at The Stony Brook School and celebrated their reception at the Three Village Inn.

"I offered to ski them to the reception," said proud dad Rob Taylor of Stony Brook, "but the tide was not right." So the bride and groom settled for a horse-drawn carriage ride, but the ski idea was not forgotten. Following a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple, who now live in Uniondale, decided to follow through on dad's suggestion. So, on Labor Day, all eyes on and around Little Bay in Setauket were glued to the skiing couple as they glided around the waterway beaming.

Rebecca Taylor graduated from St. Joseph's College and now teaches fourth grade in New York City. Canosa graduated from Hofstra Law School and recently took the bar exam.
