Stony Brook University's Alumni Association honored alumni and other members of the Stony Brook family who were lost on Sept. 11, 2001 during a ceremony at noon Friday.
"Their deaths strengthen our resolve as a University community to foster the most basic ideals of freedom and equality," stated a release from SBU.
