A 20-year-old resident of Oakland Street in Port Jefferson Station was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with criminal mischief involving damage to property valued at greater than $2500. Police reported the charges stem from the female defendant denting the left side panel of a Camry — by punching it.

Assault
Police reported at 1:30 am Oct. 18 an 18-year-old male victim was assaulted and stabbed by an unknown subject at the corner of Hallock and Lincoln avenues in Port Jefferson Station.

The manager of a building on Hallock Avenue in Port Jefferson Station called at noon Oct. 19 to report several air conditioning units had been stolen by unknown persons the previous night.

Up on blocks
A complainant called at 1:30 pm Oct. 19 to report an unknown person had stolen four tires and rims from his car while it was parked along Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station.

Car stolen
A resident of Gaymore Road in Port Jefferson Station called at 5 pm Oct. 21 to report his 1997 Dodge Caravan stolen the night before by an unknown person while it was parked outside his house.

Disturbance
An anonymous complainant called at midnight Oct. 11 to report a subject driving a gray truck at high speed "all over the road" along North Country Road in Port Jefferson. Police canvassed the area without finding the reckless operator.

Breakfast of champions
A complainant called at 6:52 am Oct. 12 to report four adult males yelling at each other and causing a disturbance on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. According to the complainant all four subjects were holding beer bottles.

Out, patient!
An official of a hospital on North Country Road in Port Jefferson called at 3:15 pm Oct. 13 to report a male patient causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the emergency room. Officers located the recalcitrant patient and resolved the situation.

Thompson Street trauma
A 19-year-old male resident of Remsen Court in Mount Sinai was arrested Oct. 16 and charged with operating a motor vehicle while attempting to leave the scene of an accident causing property damage. Police stated the arrest and accident took place on Thompson Street in Port Jefferson.

Vandal apprehended
A 19-year-old resident of Eric Drive in Setauket was arrested Oct. 21 and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property in connection with the defendant vandalizing property at a location on Boyle Road near Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station.
