Ross-Albano wedding
Jacqueline Ross and Aaron Joseph Albano were married on Saturday evening, Oct. 17, at The Foundry in Long Island City. Retired Family Court Judge Bruce Kaplan officiated.
Until January, the bride, 29, was a project associate in The Correctional Association of New York in Manhattan. She graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. and received her master's degree in public administration from New York University.
She is the daughter of Carol Ross and William Schmick. Her mother is a sculptor in New York City and her father is a portfolio manager for Berkshire Money Management in Pittsfield, Mass.
The groom, 37, is the owner of the Hood Famous Music record label and recording studio in Manhattan. He is also co-owner of Habitat Music, where he writes and produces music for film, television and commercials. Prior to this, he was Ming in the DJ break beat duo, Ming and FS. A 1990 Ward Melville graduate, he received his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Miami.
He is the son of Judith Baron Albano and Dr. Santo J. Albano of Stony Brook. His mother is a retired teacher from the Three Village School District and his father, a geriatric psychologist, was the director of human resources for the State University of New York at Stony Brook before his retirement.
