The festivities will take place throughout the Village of Port Jefferson the weekend of Dec. 4, 5 and 6. For a full schedule of events go to: www.gpjac.org.
The Chamber of Commerce, with the help of Jolie Powell and her associate Maria Palmar has secured the use of the building at the corner of Main Street and Maple Place. It will be transformed into a Dickens period warming spot named Fezziwigs Cider Alley, according to a press release from the chamber.
Fezziwigs Cider Alley will be a place where visitors can stop in for a warm cider, storytelling, complimentary gift wrapping of items purchased in the village, music, gifts for children and "pigtures" with Oscar Meyer, the pot-bellied pig, courtesy of Melissa Petsco, the chamber said.
The chamber is seeking donations of decorations to help transform the building into Fezziwigs Cider Alley. Contact Jolie Powell at 473-0420 or Maria Palmar at 774-2264. Persons interested in volunteering their time at Fezziwigs are asked to call the chamber office at 473-1414.
