POLICE REPORT Lobby lush relocated

November 27, 2009 | 12:35 PM A complainant called from a building on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station at 3:44 pm Nov. 11 to report an intoxicated male standing in the vestibule adamantly refusing to leave the property. Police responded to the location and resolved the situation.
Robbery A female complainant called at 2:40 am Nov. 14 to report an attempted robbery by an unknown subject. The complainant stated she had been accosted at a location on Thompson Street in Port Jefferson.
Disturbance
An employee of a medical office on North Country Road in Port Jefferson called at 12:39 pm Nov. 8 to request police assistance regarding a "very irate" patient under the influence of drugs who was causing a disturbance in the office.
Pit stop A complainant called from Elizabeth Lane in Terryville at 4:28 pm Nov. 8 to report a subject who had been drag racing in a yellow Mustang was parked in a driveway on the block.
Nesconset Highway robbery A complainant called at 7:15 pm Nov. 13 to report being robbed by an unknown subject while outside an Italian restaurant on Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station. The complainant stated the subject had fled the scene.
Reckless driving A resident of Greenhaven Drive in Terryville called at 5:45 pm Nov. 12 to report a neighbor causing a dangerous situation by speeding recklessly up and down the block in a tan Mercedes.
Don't dump on my land A resident of Hickory Road in Terryville called at 9:12 am Nov. 12 to report landscaping workers at a neighbor's house had dumped yard waste on the complainant's property.
Criminal mischief An employee of a medical record company on Belle Terre Road in Port Jefferson called at 1:15 pm Nov. 16 to report her vehicle vandalized by unknown persons in the company lot earlier that day.
Grand larceny A complainant called at 2 pm Nov. 13 from an office building on North Country Road in Port Jefferson Station to report the theft of several air conditioning units from behind the building. The complainant stated the units apparently had been taken by unknown persons over the prior month.
Immobilized A resident of Commodore Court in Port Jefferson Station called at 5:30 am Nov. 19 to report his vehicle up on blocks outside his home with all four tires and rims removed by unknown persons after 11 pm the previous night.
Armed robbery A 20-year-old male resident of Hallock Road in Brentwood was arrested Nov. 15 in the vicinity of a supermarket on Route 347 in Port Jefferson and charged with robbery and display of a firearm. According to the police report the defendant showed a handgun to a female subject and forced the victim to hand over cash and a cell phone.
Unemployment fraud A resident of Applewood Court and another of Janet Street in Port Jefferson Station were arrested Nov. 11 and Nov. 12, respectively, at the North County Complex on Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge and charged with grand larceny. Police reported the charges stem from the defendants fraudulently receiving unemployment benefits.
Drug driving A 19-year-old resident of Port Jefferson near Traders Cove was arrested Nov. 15 after being pulled over on North Country Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.
