Huntington Sta. bank robbed

Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred today at TD Bank in Huntington Station.

A man entered the bank at 1040 Jericho Turnpike and approached a teller at 10:07 am with a note demanding cash and threatening violence if the teller did not comply. The teller complied and gave him cash from the drawer. The robber left the bank and was seen heading toward Dix Hills Road.

The robber is described as a white male in his mid-40s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and a mustache. He was wearing a black baseball cap, red flannel shirt or jacket and dark-colored jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
