Nearly two years after East Northport resident Carly Tamer, now 8, filmed for the children's TV show "Team Umizoomi", the program is appearing on Nickelodeon.

Her episode aired Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 11:30 am to noon on Nick, Cablevision channel 33 on Long Island. It will repeat on Sunday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 pm on Nick Jr., Cablevision channel 123. Other television providers offer Nick and Nick Jr. on different channels.

The show is part animation, which is some of the reason it took so long to finish, according to her mom, Caroline, who said, "She had a great time filming it and can't wait to see it!"

In the show, Carly helps the animated Team Umizoomi characters get milk for everyone after the farmer gets sick. Steve Burns, the original Steve of "Blue's Clues" was the director.
