Calling all St. Joe's grads
|
All alumni of the former St. Joseph's School in Kings Park, a private Catholic grammar school in operation from 1936 to 1972, are invited to a reunion celebration for all classes Friday, April 16 from 7 to 11 pm at Flowerfield in St. James. Cost is $100 per person and checks should be made out to St. Joseph's Reunion and mailed to PO Box 1076, Kings Park, NY 11754. Respondents are asked to write their year of graduation on the check. Alumni Mary O'Brien Ryan, Rita Utilasky Baker and Frank Foley will be the guests of honor, as will six graduates who pursued vocations to the religious life.
Also on April 16, there will be guided tours of the former school facility in Kings Park and viewing of memorabilia during the afternoon. An alumni Mass will be said at 5 pm at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. For information, email StJoseph'sReunion@gmail.com.
