CSH wants $7.5M reserve fund
February 05, 2010 | 01:52 PM
This spring, voters in Cold Spring Harbor may be asked to establish a $7.5 million capital reserve fund for the school district to cover future construction, expansion and/or repairs to its buildings. Money for the fund would come from any surplus the district has at the end of each fiscal year between June 30, 2010 and June 30, 2020, plus interest.

The school board plans on reviewing the draft proposition at its Tuesday, Feb. 9 meeting starting 8 pm in the district board room at 75 Goosehill Road.

Once authorized, Proposition 2 will appear on the Tuesday, May 18 ballot along with the budget proposal and a choice of candidates for the board. Polls are open from 7 am to 10 pm.
