Belle Terre Code & PJS Shooting

This is the second time that I've got a kick out of seeing a front page photo in the PTR of the PJS shooting. Looking at the photo you will see what appear to be two police cars parked behind crime scene tape. But look closely and you will see that the car on the left is not a SCPD car, it is a Belle Terre Code Enforcement car. You can see the "VBT" on the license plate and the "Terre" on the right side of the trunk.

Someone want to explain why a code car from Belle Terre is at a shooting scene in Port Jefferson Station?

Not only are they way out of their village, they are at and inside the crime scene area. They have no business being there.

Whos watching Belle Terre when the code guys are playing wannabe cop at shooting scenes?
