Channing Reuschenberg
Died: Sunday, October 25, 2009
Channing Reuschenberg of Centerport died on Oct. 25. He was born on Sept. 25, 1921, in Huntington, the son of Charles R. and Eleanor Johnson Reuschenberg. He served in the U.S. Army, and later worked in manufacturing.
Mr. Reuschenberg is survived by his sons, Channing and Kathy Reuschenberg Jr. and Robert and Sue Reuschenberg; his daughter, Barbara and Douglas Freidank; seven grandchildren; and his sisters, Charlotte Erwin, Hannah Essay and Eleanor. He was predeceased by his son, Charles Reuschenberg and his sister, Martha.
The funeral was held on Oct. 28, the Rev. Thomas Smoot officiating, followed the next day by private cremation.
