Michael Cannon
Mike Cannon, 80, passed away on Jan. 29. He is survived by his wife Carmen; his sons Michael, David and Jonathan; and his 10 grandchildren, David, Alexandra, Gillian, Kristen, Jeffrey, Brian, Lindsay, Matthew, Sebastian and Brendan. He was predeceased by his son, Christopher, and his wife Audrey.
Mike was born in England in 1929 and moved to Port Washington in 1958, where he raised his four sons. He moved to Setauket in 1999. Before retirement, he was chairman and CEO of Croda, Inc. in New York City. He spent his summers with his family on Canada Lake in the Adirondack Mountains, where his biggest passion was fishing with his sons.
Services will be held on Feb. 6 at the St. James RC Church in Setauket at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christopher Cannon Memorial Fund, 57 Shore Road, East Setauket, NY 11733.
