The long evening of beach volleyball nearly caught up with the girls from Ward Melville. After destroying their first competition against Center Moriches, 3-0, to start the night, the Patriots were forced to rally from a one game deficit in their second game of the night to defeat Comsewogue 2-1 (18-25, 25-16, 25-22) in a Town of Brookhaven beach volleyball game played July 8 at the Centereach Pool Complex.
