Honor Flight Long Island

Councilwoman Kathleen Walsh with veteran Charles Costa from Selden attended the first annual Veterans Day Benefit Dinner Nov. 12, with dinner and dancing held at a Georgio's Caterers fundraiser for Honor Flight Long Island; the nonprofit provides veterans with a free trip to the World War II memorial. Guests of honor included WWII veterans.
